About Next Recovery

Next Recovery offer services and sober homes here in Gainesville, Florida, to those who have completed addiction treatments.

 

Their mission is to help individuals who have completed treatment and want or need to remain in a supportive recovering community to learn and develop the tools they need for a new life of long-term sobriety.

 

Most residents stay six months to a year, improving their odds of sobriety by more than 60%.

That is why Next Recovery created a gender-specific program for women in recovery called RecovHER. The program has shown great success in helping women achieve sustained recovery.

 

This proposal is for training and working with these female residents to help them landscape their two homes front and back as part of the RecovHER program.

​

The women in the homes range from age 18 to around 50. They come from all backgrounds and professions

​

One of the success stories is about a nurse who lost her way with prescription drugs during the Covid epidemic. After treatment and a year in their recovery home, she was able to not only achieve long-term recovery but, with hard work and a sober support network, return to work.
